Craven Early College High School had their first day of school today. We were able to welcome our new 9th graders through our House Sorting Ceremony. Students were greeted by our 10th and 11th grade students at the front entrance of the school. Ms. Nika Johnson, House Nguvu Leader, Mrs. Erin Miller, House Sapere Leader, Ms. Alison Strommer, House Aistra Leader and Mr. Jesi Vargas, House Ohana Leader helped create the House Sorting process.
Students were able to find out which House they would be a part of through the popping of balloons. The popping of balloons released glitter and the House wristband. All of our students had a great time and it set the tone of our family atmosphere at CEC.
