WCH Athletic Director, Earns Certified Master Athletic Administrator Title from NIAAA

The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) is pleased to announce that David Fernandez, West Craven High School Athletic Director, has been recognized by the NIAAA as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator.

To earn this distinction, David Fernandez has demonstrated exemplary knowledge, contributions, and ongoing professional development in the field of interscholastic athletic administration. The voluntary certification process included a thorough evaluation of the candidate's educational background, experience, NIAAA Leadership Training Courses, and professional contributions. It is culminated with a practical written or oral presentation project.

David Fernandez is one of an elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators worldwide to attain this level of professionalism.

Mr. Fernandez also received the NCADA (North Carolina Athletic Director Association) Athletic Director of Excellence Award at the 53rd State Conference Awards luncheon in Asheville on March 15th.
