Kindergarten Registration Day Welcomes the Class of 2038 Across the District
Craven County Schools celebrated a joyful milestone on Wednesday, April 9th, as elementary schools across the district opened their doors to welcome the Class of 2038 and their families during Kindergarten Registration Day.
The excitement was contagious as our newest learners explored their future classrooms, met caring educators, and took their first steps into their exciting educational journey. Staff and volunteers greeted families with warm smiles, fun activities, and valuable information to ensure a smooth start to the school year.
“We’re thrilled to see so many bright young faces and enthusiastic parents today,” said Acting Superintendent Mrs. Michelle Lee. “It’s a true celebration of community and learning.”
For families who were unable to attend in person, it’s not too late to register. The online registration portal is still open and can be accessed at https://www.cravenk12.org/
Parents are also encouraged to contact their child’s school directly to schedule a visit. Our staff is eager to meet every future kindergartener!
Be sure to check out the district and school social media channels for adorable snapshots from the event as we begin counting down to the first day of school!
