J.T. Barber Elementary Accepted into A+ Schools of North Carolina Program

J.T. Barber Elementary School is proud to announce its acceptance into the prestigious A+ Schools of North Carolina program. The school received the exciting news on Monday, December 16th, 2024, marking the beginning of an incredible journey toward becoming a fully recognized A+ School.

The A+ Schools of North Carolina is a statewide network dedicated to fostering creativity in education. The program supports schools that strive to integrate the arts into their curriculum, providing students with opportunities to express themselves and enhance their learning experiences. In the coming months, J.T. Barber staff will begin preparations for an on-site visit with A+ Schools of North Carolina and professional development training, which will take place in the spring and over the summer.
