Havelock High School Wrestling Coach Receives NCHSAA Toby Webb Outstanding Coach Award

Craven County Schools is proud to celebrate Chase Holleman, wrestling coach at Havelock High School, for being selected by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Foundation as a recipient of the Toby Webb Outstanding Coach Award.

Coach Holleman was honored at the annual NCHSAA Awards Celebration on Wednesday, June 10, in Greensboro. This statewide recognition is a tremendous achievement and a well-deserved honor for Coach Holleman, Havelock High School, and the entire Havelock wrestling program.

The Toby Webb Outstanding Coach Award is one of the NCHSAA Foundation’s distinguished coach recognitions and is presented annually to outstanding coaches who have made a meaningful impact on student-athletes, their schools, and high school athletics across North Carolina.

Coach Holleman has built a distinguished career at Havelock High School defined by sustained excellence, leadership, and a commitment to growing the sport of wrestling. With 18 years of coaching experience, including leading both the men’s and women’s wrestling programs, he has helped develop one of the most successful wrestling programs in the state.

Under his leadership, Havelock’s wrestling teams have earned more than 350 dual team victories, multiple conference and regional championships, a women’s state runner-up finish, and numerous individual state champions. Beyond competition, Coach Holleman has also played an important role in advancing wrestling opportunities across North Carolina through his service with wrestling organizations at the state level.

Craven County Schools congratulates Coach Holleman on this outstanding recognition and thanks him for his continued commitment to students, athletics, and the Havelock community. His leadership, mentorship, and dedication continue to make a lasting impact on student-athletes both on and off the mat.
