Flagpole Dedication - Early College EAST

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, Early College EAST High School held a special Flagpole Dedication ceremony in memory of Mr. Miller, a beloved math teacher who served at the school from 2015 to 2021. This tribute also honored all military-connected students at ECE.
The ceremony was attended by ECE students, staff, and Mr. Miller’s family. Prior to his time at ECE, Mr. Miller served as a Lt. Colonel in the US Marine Corps, graduating from the US Naval Academy in 1993 and retiring in 2013. His influence extended far beyond the classroom, making a profound impact on our school and community.
The newly dedicated flagpole and plaque will serve as a lasting tribute to Mr. Miller’s exceptional service and dedication. We are honored to remember him and his contributions with this special memorial.
