Emily Baldeosingh Named a Finalist for Military Child of the Year Award

Emily Baldeosingh, a senior at Havelock High and a standout military child known for her leadership, resilience, and dedication to service, has been named one of five finalists for the prestigious Military Child of the Year® Award.
The annual award, presented by Operation Homefront, honors exceptional military children who have demonstrated strength of character, academic achievement, and a commitment to their communities. Emily, representing the National Guard, was selected from a competitive pool of nominees nationwide.
The official announcement of the 2025 Military Child of the Year winner will be made in April.
