Craven County Schools Hosts School Bus Rodeo Competition

On Monday, April 7, 2025, the Craven County Schools Transportation Department proudly hosted a School Bus Rodeo Competition at West Craven High School's driving range. The event featured 21 skilled drivers, 18 from Craven County and 3 from Jones County, showcasing their precision and safety skills through challenging courses.
Judged by officials from the North Carolina DMV, the competition celebrated the dedication of school bus drivers, who play a crucial role in student safety and success.
"We're thrilled to highlight the skills and hard work of our transportation team," said Transportation Director Jermaine Smith.

- 3rd Place-Earnice Bryant
These winners will advance to the regional competition.
