From May 4–8, Craven County Schools proudly celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week by honoring the incredible educators who make a lasting impact in classrooms and school communities every single day.

Throughout the week, teachers across the district were recognized for their dedication, passion, and commitment to supporting student success. Often described as the “rock stars” of schools, teachers go above and beyond to create meaningful learning experiences, inspire students, and build lasting relationships that extend far beyond the classroom.

Teacher Appreciation Week served as an opportunity to recognize the countless hours educators devote to preparing lessons, encouraging students, supporting families, and helping shape the future of the community through education.

The district also encouraged families and community members to join in celebrating teachers and showing appreciation for the important role they play in students’ lives.

Special thanks were extended to school leaders, PTO organizations, members of the Board of Education, and local businesses for their continued generosity and support throughout the week. Their thoughtful recognition and encouragement helped make the celebration even more meaningful for educators across the district.

Craven County Schools remains deeply grateful for the outstanding teachers who serve students each day with care, dedication, and excellence.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all of our amazing educators. Thank you for all that you do!
