Community Support in Action: International Paper Donates 250 Fem Care Kits to Craven County Schools

Our district is proud to highlight a powerful act of community support that will directly benefit students across our schools. On November 18th, we received a generous donation of 250 Fem Care Kits from the dedicated team at International Paper in Vanceboro. These kits will be distributed to schools throughout the district to ensure students in need have access to essential personal care items.

For the past five years, International Paper has hosted its annual FemCare packing events, an initiative focused on providing basic care kits to girls and women in the communities they serve. This long standing effort not only meets an important need, but also shines a spotlight on the impactful work happening inside the company’s New Bern facility, where materials used in everyday care products are created.

Our district is deeply grateful for this ongoing partnership. International Paper’s commitment to supporting local schools continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and families.
Thank you, International Paper, for your generosity, leadership, and dedication to community care.
