Celebrating Our 2025 Holiday Card Winners!

This holiday season, Craven County Schools invited students across the district to help spread joy and hope through their artistic talents. In art classes, students created their own visions of the holidays, submitting beautiful, creative designs for consideration.

We’re excited to announce the 2025 District Holiday Card Winner:

Sara Augsburger, 12th grade, Havelock High School

Guided by her art teacher, Ms. Harper, Sara’s design was selected by the Board of Education from 12 outstanding submissions representing elementary, middle, and high school artists. Her artwork was printed and shared with more than 300 recipients locally and across the state!

We also proudly recognize the Superintendent’s Holiday Card Winner:

Ellen Emmerich, 7th grade, H.J. MacDonald Middle School

Under the instruction of Ms. Porter, Ellen’s artwork was printed and distributed to over 100 families, staff members, and community partners.

Congratulations to Sara and Ellen! Your creativity and talent are bringing holiday cheer to our schools, community, and beyond. We are proud of you!
