Celebrating 100 Days of Learning Across Craven County Schools

VFL 100th Day of School

Students across Craven County Schools recently celebrated the 100th Day of School, a milestone that highlights just how much growth and learning has taken place since the start of the school year.

At Ben D. Quinn Elementary, the celebration was filled with engaging lessons and creative activities designed to make learning fun and meaningful. Students participated in hands-on math challenges, reading activities, and even a scavenger hunt that incorporated 100-themed tasks. The day provided a wonderful opportunity for students to reflect on how far they have come academically and socially in just 100 days.

In a fun and memorable twist, some students dressed as if they had aged 90-plus years, a playful reminder that with 100 days of learning comes wisdom beyond their years!

Meanwhile, at Vanceboro Farm Life School, students and staff marked the occasion in a truly unique way. With the assistance of the Craven County Sheriff’s Department and their drone technology, the entire school community gathered to form the number “100” for a stunning aerial photograph. The image captured not only the milestone day but also the spirit and unity that make the VFL community so special.

The 100th Day of School is more than just a number, it is a celebration of perseverance, academic progress, friendships formed, and goals achieved. It serves as a reminder of the dedication of our students, teachers, and staff who work hard each day to create meaningful learning experiences.

As we move forward into the remainder of the school year, we celebrate the accomplishments of the first 100 days and look ahead with excitement to continued growth and success.

Here’s to the next 100 days of learning!
