Board of Education May 2026 Special Called Meetings

The Board of Education has scheduled two Special Called Meetings in May.

The Board will go into closed session upon opening the meeting pursuant to N.C. General Statute § 143-318.11(a)(3) and (a)(6) to consult with an attorney in order to protect the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the public body and to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, or condition of appointment of a public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee. 

In addition the Board may consider financial and budgetary matters.  Action may be taken.

 There will be no public input at either the Thursday May 21, 2026 or Wednesday, May 27, 2026 meeting.
