Safety and Emergencies
Overview
Craven County Schools is committed to the safety of our entire school community. We work every day to provide a safe environment for all students, staff, and visitors. Principals, teachers, and support staff are trained to respond to emergencies. All schools practice emergency drills for fire, lockdown, and tornados. We work very closely with the police, fire, and sheriff departments to gather information to prevent and plan for emergencies.
To ensure school safety please report any safety concerns directly to the school principal. We take the business of maintaining safe environments seriously and enlist your support as an essential partner.
In the event of a safety issue please make sure all of your contact information is up to date at the school as this information will be used to communicate information through our call notification system.
