Military Families Liaison Program

Welcome Military Families!

A message from Dr. Wendy Miller, CCS District Superintendent

Purple Star School

Congratulations to every school in Craven County
for earning the 23-24 NC Purple Star Award!

Because all of our schools were awarded, the district also earned
the NC Purple Star Superintendent's Award!

Craven County Schools is one of only 13 districts in the state to earn this distinction.

Congratulations to all of the schools and to Dr. Miller for her
commitment  to serving our military connected families!

This site provides access to information and resources for military families about our school system, educational information, school transition, deployment support, community resources and more.

We are proud to serve our military students and families and
we thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Craven County Schools employs a District Military Liaison Counselor, who supports and advocates for military-connected students and families, while working in partnership with Cherry Point Marine Base personnel, other state liaisons, and area schools.
