Hello, 

This is my first year teaching at Havelock High School. I have been an educator for four years. I am originally from East Tennessee. Before coming to Havelock I was an Extension Agent for the University of Tennessee, I provided needs based education to my communituy. I got my undergraduate degree from Carson Newman University in Child and Family Studies. I got my Masters in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Tennessee at Martin. I am very excited to begin my career at Havelock High School. 

My passion is Family and Consumer Science Education. My goal is to teach students real life skills, like cooking and baking. It is my job to prepare students for their next phase of life. Students will learn the basics and will leave Foods 1 with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare food on their own.
