Hi!  My name is Dawn Hill, and I absolutely love teaching kindergarten. This is my 20th year teaching, and my 5th year in this grade level.  I find kindergartners are very imaginative, and they love to learn!   I am an avid reader, and I enjoy sharing my love of books and teaching students to read.  

Outside of the classroom,  I live here in New Bern, but spent most of my life in Annapolis, Maryland.  I have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.  I love all animals, especially my St. Bernard, Dexter.  I  enjoy spending time with my family and anything beach related.  I am a fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens!!  I like going back to my hometown and watching a ball game when I get some time off.
