Hello Bangert Families!
My name is Tiffany Dunbar, RN, BSN and I am the school nurse for AH Bangert Elementary. I graduated from Craven Community College in 2012 and received my Bachelors of Science of Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2015. I am also a Certified Emergency Nurse and plan to obtain my National Board Certification in School Nursing this coming Summer. I started as a nurse with the hope that I would impact those around me in a positive way. I still hold true to that and am so glad that I am able to provide medical care and support to your children. Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions or concerns regarding your child's health.
All upcoming Kindergartners and new students (not previously enrolled in a North Carolina Public School) are required by North Carolina State Law to submit a NC Health Assessment Form. This form provides us with basic information regarding your child's health and makes recommendations for needs your child may have while at school. They must also be in compliance with NC Immunization Requirements and a record must be provided. Both the NC Health Assessment Form and Immunization Requirements must be submitted to school within 30 days of your child enrolling into school per NC state law, with no exceptions.
Please remember that any child with fever, vomiting, or diarrhea MAY NOT return to school unless they have been symptoms free without the aid of medication for 24 hours!
If you child has a medical condition or dietary need, please report this to your child's teacher and school nurse. Also, please visit the health form page to determine if any forms need to be completed to ensure appropriate measures are in place to keep your child safe.
