Hello, 

My name is Shannon Patton and I am a first grade teacher here at Brinson Memorial Elementary. I have been teaching for 17 years.

I was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. I taught at William Ramsay Elementary in Alexandria for ten years. When I moved here in 2006 I began teaching at Oaks Road Elementary for six years. 

I love teaching first grade because children grow and change so much during first grade...it is so exciting to be part of that transformation!
