• When school begins on August 17th we will begin serving the children in the community again. Meals will be served from all school locations with the exception of Havelock Middle school. Meal service times will be 11am-1pm daily. On August 17th we will still be providing meals to ALL children aged 18 and under at no charge. We are able to do this under the Summer food service program through August 31st. Due to federal regulations however, we sadly have to end this program on August 31st and will begin the National school lunch program on September 1st. What this means is that beginning September 1st, all students enrolled in CCS (both Craven Live and all other students on virtual learning) will be eligible for meals. These meals will be provided at 22 schools for pick up and we will have a few hubs within the community. Again, Havelock Middle school will be the only school location that will not be operating for meal pick up.

The cost of meals beginning on September 1st will be based on the student's free/reduced or denied status. Students enrolled in CEP schools will still receive free meals. In addition, this year due to a statewide grant, all children who are approved for reduced meals will also be receiving breakfast AND lunch at no charge. To further clarify what this means, all children approved for free, reduced and CEP students will be receiving meals at no cost. If your student is not approved for free or reduced meals or at a CEP school and you would like to put money on their lunch account you may do so by visiting https://family.titank12.com. PLEASE, if you have not done so, be sure to get your Free and reduced application submitted. You also now have the capability of filling out and submitting an application online at the aforementioned website https://family.titank12.com.
