Hello! I am Lindsay Weatherington and I am so excited to be your student's 3rd grade teacher. 

I graduated from Appalachian State University in May 2016 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I have taught 3rd grade every year of my career, and in my opinion, it is the best grade! 

I am a New Bern native, and I actually attended TPE as a student! Outside of school, I really enjoy spending time outdoors. I love kayaking, hiking, walking around downtown New Bern, and reading. I am a huge fan of the Carolina Hurricanes and the Carolina Panthers. I've actually been to over 30 National Hockey League games! I have a calico kitty named Aggie and a German Shepherd/Coonhound mix named Huckleberry. Our classroom is lucky to have Chowder the bearded dragon as our class pet. She's so much fun to have around!
