Mrs. Renae Willis
Meet Mrs. Willis!
I was born and raised in Georgia. I lived there until I joined the United States Air Force after high school. While serving, I was fortunate enough to travel to various locations to include perhaps my greatest assignment, Thule Greenland. While in Greenland I met and married my husband. The Air Force was a wonderful experience and has led me to where I am today, teaching.
Being a teacher has been such a rewarding experience and to have the privilage to teach the students at James W. Smith is a cherished honor. I graduted from the University of Mount Olive with an undergraduate in Human Resource Management. Later I continued to Grand Canyon University and earned a graduate degree in Elementary Education.
A little more about me. I have been blessed with two awesome children, Alyssa and Gavin. I have many favorites but being with my family is hands down my favorite of all favorites. The family also consists of a pint sized yorkie who rules the house, Eddie. Murph is a rescue boxer. I like to think that he rescused us rather than us rescuing him. Then there is Mali, the class pet. She is a three year old mali uromastyx lizard who likes to relax in her space.
