I have been a Craven County resident most of my life where I graduated from West Craven High School in 1989.  I graduated in 1993 from East Carolina University with a BSBA in Finance.  I later went back to ECU to complete my teaching certification.   Prior to my employment with Craven County Schools, I was the Director of Education for Sylvan Learning Center of New Bern.  For the past 18 years, I have taught middle grades math with Craven County.  In addition to teaching middle school with Craven County, I also teach part-time at Craven Community College.  I am extremely excited about my move to the high school level!

I have two beautiful grown children and am very close to my son, Ryan and daughter, Victoria.  

This will be my first year here at Havelock High School and I will be teaching Math 2 and Math 2 Honors.
