Transportation Information Needed for 2026–2027 School Year 

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, Craven County Schools is asking for the support of our families to help ensure a smooth and efficient start to transportation services.

The Transportation Department needs information from two specific groups:

  • New students enrolling in Craven County Schools for the 2026–2027 school year

  • Current students whose families have recently moved to a new address

To support this process, we ask that parents contact their school to request transortation. Providing this information in advance allows our transportation team to route buses accurately and minimize any delays in service at the beginning of the school year.

 

Important Details:

  • Submission deadline to request transportation is August 7, 2026.

  • All parents should contact their school to request transportation.

  • Any transportation requests submitted after August 7 may take up to 10 days to be assigned to a route.

  • Families who have moved since the end of the 2025-26 school year must provide proof of their new address and notify the school of the address change.
