Autism Support Team

The Craven County Schools District Autism Support Team serves as a resource for all schools in the district. The goal is to help ensure that students with ASD develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, and vocationally. Craven County's District Autism Support Team accomplishes this by providing universal, tailored, and customized support through professional learning and technical assistance to schools and staff. This fosters capacity building and sustainment of best practices for school-level teams to provide appropriate individualized education programs in the least restrictive environment. Evidence-based practices are the foundation for district professional learning and capacity building.
