2024-2025 Traditional Academic Calendar

The Curriculum and Instruction Team, together with input from school leaders and staff, has created an innovative traditional academic calendar for the 2024-2025 school year. Please know Craven County Schools is obligated to adhere to the NC General Statue 115C-84.2  when creating the school calendar. A few of the highlights of the calendar law can be found on the CCS Calendar Overview Page.

The Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 Traditional Calendar during the January Board Work Session on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. The calendar was amended and approved on May 14, 2024, and adds two Optional Workdays for staff in June.
