School Health Advisory Council
Craven County Schools has a School Health Advisory Council to help plan, implement, and monitor the Healthy Active Children policy as well as other health issues as part of the coordinated school health plan.
The local School Health Advisory Council is composed of community and school representatives from the eight areas of a coordinated school health program.
Any community person who wishes to be a part of the School Health Advisory Council should contact Debbie Hodges, Director of Student Support Services at (252) 514-6341.
The priorities for the 2019-20 school year are:

2. Physical Activity
3. Health Education
4. Health Services
