    Electronic Flyer Approval and Distribution

Craven County Schools Goes GREEN with Peachjar

In the past, our schools sent home loads of flyers in students’ backpacks. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly and to embrace innovative technology, we haved moved from paper to a digital flyer delivery program called Peachjar.

With our Peachjar e-flyer program, the e-flyers are sent directly to parents’ email inboxes as well as posted on school websites for easy access. All flyers may be accessed by clicking on the Peachjar link on each school’s website.  Our district cooperates with approved community partners by posting eflyers online and distributing them electronically through our service provider, Peachjar. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned from paper to electronic flyer delivery.

Each year, our schools will save tons of paper and reduce copy costs by thousands of dollars. In addition, paperless delivery of school flyers removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers.  School and school district-approved e-flyers keep you informed about upcoming school activities, programs, and events.

    Community Groups and Outside Organizations:

To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted online. Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed.

     Visit www.peachjar.com

    • Register as an Enrichment / Community Org. (account type).
    • Upload your flyer for approval.

Your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district office. District staff will review the material and approve or deny it based on the standards and policies of the district. (See below). Peachjar charges a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school.

Non-school material distributed via Peachjar will clearly state the material is neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Craven County School system and the view and information contained in the material does not reflect the school system’s approval or disapproval.
