Mr. Warren Brent Wooten
Greetings! My name is Mr. Wooten and I am a native of Bethel, North Carolina. I graduated from North Pitt High School in 1999 and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 with a Bachelof of Arts in Political Science. I have a beautiful wife, Caitlin Wooten, and two perfect daughters, Harper and Kennedy Wooten. My family and I reside in Carteret County.
I began my teaching career at North Pitt High School, my alma mater, in 2003. I taught Civics and Economics, the History of Sports, African American History, World History, AP Psychology and AP Human Geography. I also coached Football, Basketball, Baseball and Women's Tennis while at North Pitt High School. I spent my last 4 years at North Pitt as the Co Athletic Director.
I began my teaching career at Havelock High School in 2017. I have taught AP Psychology, Civics and Economics, World History, and AP US History, I am also the core teacher for AVID 10th and 11th graders.

What is a Playlist? It is a weekly agenda that provides key informaiton to students and parents about learning targets, student activities and student assessments. Every Friday, I will share next weeks plan with students and parents via my landing page.
What is a Landing Page?. It is a one stop shop for curriculum, information and questions. It has a link to my Online Classroom Space (CANVAS for High School), my contact information, playlists, and virtual learning etiquette.
Playlist are located at the top of each module in Canvas (my landing page). Each unit for each course will have a playlist that includes essential questions, key terms and test dates. Each week in canvas will have an assignment page with weekly assingments. These will be updated every Monday.
