  • Summer Reading Program

Next week will be the start of our summer reading program. This is to provide students with the opportunity to stay engaged with reading. Some of the benefits from a summer reading program is that it provides encouragement where reading becomes a lifelong habit and reluctant readers can be drawn in by the activities. The program can also build strong reading and writing skills and develop a deep love of books and reading. Although the participation in our summer reading program is voluntary, we encourage students to take advantage of reading opportunities that will promote their learning. More details here

  • Voters Registration

The North Carolina League of Conservation Voters Foundation supports nonpartisan voter registration and campaigns. They have worked with our school over the years to educate our students on the voting process and assist with getting young adults registered.

Please visit their website and make sure you're prepared to fully engage in upcoming elections.
